THE STARS AND STRIPES

The primary reason for this blog post is that we realized more than ever how many photos we have taken of the United States flag,  also known as the Stars and Stripes, Old Glory and the Star Spangled Banner, since we started our full time RV lifestyle.

Our beautiful United States flag is displayed all over our country, and we sometimes think our little corner of the world is the extent of patriotism.  So this post is just about a few flags we have enjoyed seeing throughout our travels in America.  We are grateful for United States citizens who feel the same way everywhere we travel, who take the time to learn flag etiquette, and proudly display their patriotism.

Like us, you have most likely taken pictures of our flag when you have travelled through our beautiful country.  Thank you very much for reading our blog as we celebrate American Independence Day.  July 4, 1776 is a day that represents the Declaration of Independence and the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation.   This holiday should represent more than a backyard cookout, fireworks, and a "day off" for all Americans.
